Privacy Policy

1. What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains what information Vexelgen (“we,” “us”) collects when you use our AI generation service (the “Service”), how we use it, and who we share it with.

2. Information we collect

• Account information: your email address and password (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see or store your plaintext password).
• Generation data: the text prompts you submit, any images you upload as generation inputs, and the images/video we generate for you, along with metadata like the model used, timestamps, and credit cost.
• Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and a Stripe customer/subscription reference, but never your full card number.
• Usage data: basic technical information like IP address and browser type, collected as part of normal web server operation.

3. How we use your information

• To operate the Service — submitting your generation requests to the relevant AI model provider and returning the result to you.
• To manage your account, credits, and subscription billing.
• To communicate with you about your account, transactions, or changes to our policies.
• To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms of Service.
• To maintain and improve the reliability of the Service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your prompts or generated content to train our own AI models.

4. Who we share information with

• AI model providers (currently kie.ai and, as a fallback, fal.ai and EvoLink) — your prompt and, if applicable, your uploaded image are sent to these providers to generate your output. They process this data under their own privacy and content policies.
• Supabase — our authentication, database, and file storage provider. Your account data, generation history, and uploaded/generated files are stored on Supabase’s infrastructure.
• Stripe — our payment processor, which handles all billing and stores your payment method on our behalf.
• Resend — our transactional email provider, used to send account-related emails like signup confirmation.

We do not otherwise sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Data retention

We retain your account and generation history for as long as your account is active, so you can view your gallery and job history. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we’re required to retain records (for example, transaction records for tax or accounting purposes).

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@vexelgen.com.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls on our database (row-level security scoped to each user’s own account). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We’ll post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date.
